Translation:

They ask you about drinking and gambling. Say, "There is great harm in both, though there is some benefit also for the people. But the harm of the sin thereof is far greater than their benefit."

Translit: Yasaloonaka AAani alkhamri waalmaysiri qul feehima ithmun kabeerun wamanafiAAu lilnnasi waithmuhuma akbaru min nafAAihima wayasaloonaka matha yunfiqoona quli alAAafwa kathalika yubayyinu Allahu lakumu alayati laAAallakum tatafakkaroona

Translation:

Translation:

Indeed Satan intends to sow enmity and hatred among you by means of wine and gambling, and to prevent you from the remembrance of Allah and from Salat. Will you not, , therefore, abstain from these things?

Translation:

Two other slaves also entered into the prison along with him. One day one of them said, "I dreamed that I am pressing grapes into wine," and the other said, "I dreamed that I am carrying loaves of bread on my head, of which birds are eating. " Then both of them said, "Tell us their interpretations, for we have seen that you are a righteous man."

Translation:

My fellow prisoners, here are the interpretations of your dreams. One of you will serve wine to his lord (the king of Egypt): as for the other, he shall be crucified and birds will eat of his head. Thus has that matter been decreed whereof you inquired."

Translation:

Well, leave them deeply involved in their heedlessness up to an appointed term.

Translation:

The Paradise that has been promised to the righteous is such that canals will be flowing in it of pure water, and canals will be flowing in it of milk of unchanged flavor, and canals will be flowing in it of wine which will be delightful to the drinkers, and canals will be flowing in it of honey, clear and pure. In it there will be fruits of every kind for them and forgiveness from their Lord. (Can the person who will be admitted to this Paradise) be like those who will dwell in Hell for ever and who will be given to drink boiling water that will cut their bowels into pieces?

Translit: Mathalu aljannati allatee wuAAida almuttaqoona feeha anharun min main ghayri asinin waanharun min labanin lam yataghayyar taAAmuhu waanharun min khamrin laththatin lilshsharibeena waanharun min AAasalin musaffan walahum feeha min kulli alththamarati wamaghfiratun min rabbihim kaman huwa khalidun fee alnnari wasuqoo maan hameeman faqattaAAa amAAaahum
